The United States Department of Veteran’s Affairs works to ensure eligible Veterans and their beneficiaries gain access to timely, high-quality care through the continued use of their Community Care Network (CCN). The VA Community Care Network directly works with community providers to ensure those eligible for services have quick access to care in their local communities. Bethesda Adult Services, comprised of Adult Day Services and Help at Home, is now an in-network provider through the CCN network and can provide services to eligible Veterans and their beneficiaries.
Adult Day Services is specifically designed for seniors who need supervision and stimulation between 8am and 6pm while their primary caregiver is at work, running errands or enjoying a personal day of relaxation. Instead of staying at home alone, clients enjoy social interaction and recreational activities in a safe and supportive environment. Our team can provide on-site health care, including medication management, rehabilitation therapies and warm water therapy.
As part of our Help at Home program, our trained, professional staff travel to the client’s home to provide individualized care. Our staff can provide companionship, transportation, personal care and nursing services to help meet the client’s needs. These services can help bridge a gap for families and keep loved ones in their home environment longer.
