Bethesda Home of Aberdeen Receives 5-Star Quality Rating

Bethesda Home of Aberdeen was recently awarded another 5-Star Quality Rating by the United States government. Nursing Home Compare (NHC) provides quality ratings to each of the nation’s 15,000 plus Medicare and/or Medicaid-certified skilled nursing home facilities. All facilities are rated on a scale from a low rating (1 star) to the highest possible ranking of 5 stars.

“The Five-Star Quality Rating System is purposely designed for consumers, families and caregivers to more effectively compare nursing home options,” Eisenbeisz stated. “Our dedicated staff at Bethesda Home considers the 5-Star Quality Rating a true validation of the standard of care we strive to provide to our residents each and every day.”

According to NHC, “Receiving a better than average 5-star rating has never been more important to nursing homes.” Each facility receives an overall rating as well as individual ratings based on health inspections, staffing levels and various quality measures. A 5-star rating is considered to be “much above average” per the NHC guidelines and often times will help guide families in the decision-making process for their loved ones. Bethesda Home of Aberdeen is proud to consistently achieve this 5-star rating. To obtain more information about the Nursing Home Compare 5-Star Quality Rating System, please visit www.medicare.gov.
